My birthday was pretty dayum good and fun. Hung out with some old friends and new friends and do not remember some of the things but I know I had LOTS of fun. I guess the thing that got me was that my silly self decided to use the following day as the day I volunteer for my free tickets to Disney. Let just say the 4 hours I was there seemed to last a life time. Being tired and still feeling the drinks in my system was not the way to volunteer. I rushed home and crashed right after. Rest of the weekend was spent resting and at the movies.

So far so good for the month of February. But I do need to place my car in the shop to get some rod fix. And get my car registration done.

I almost forgot…I am officially an Adams. Passport even says it now, bank information had to be changed. WHAT THE HELL!!! All my life, then BAMM!!!! your name changes. Well, I still go by my old name just with official stuff I am Adams. I wish I would have known this in grade school. I good had got lunch first.

I have been pretty busy. I have done everything from reading, to taking pictures, to seeing friends I hav known from my Navy days. I have traveled to Kansas City to see my best friend for Thanksgiving (and didn’t even get any Turkey). I will be going to Saudi soon to see her. Man, I have not been there in years. Had dinner and movie with another shipmate (I did not even know so many of them live so close now). And may be traveling to Washington state for another shipmates retirement from the Navy.  Had some laughs with pictures I posted of the ol’  Navy times. That cracked me up.

Of course its the time of the year I do not like ( I do not like spending money) plus to top it all off I have been super busy at work. It’s not so bad because I LOVE what I am doing now and since the long days are over I love it even more. I found out my last name is wrong, now what the hell is that all about. I was born with one name. Told it was change after 14 days and found out it was never actually changed. I have been using a name that was not even mine. Oh well, I am still using it unless I have to do anything legal…LOL

I got rid of the hockey player for good, right before Thanksgiving and he had to nerve to be shock. Stupid people never see what is coming ahead. They do not know when to go into the light. Besides that, I finally got my camera I wanted and the lenses I wanted. I finally finish a painting I have been working on forever. And I am finally getting some good sleep. For the new year, I am planning to go to Washington, UAE, and home of course. This year sucked in the beginning (not really I needed a break from work) but things finally started looking up after June. Time to start the New Year. I am going to post more. I will not promise this time. Until next time!

January…..I think I was going to kill someone in Ohio. My family drove me crazy. I have no idea why they are so insane. Maybe its me.

February….My birthday went by without even a glance. I had a funny run in with the police. Thank you hockey guy for being around that day. And my brother’s birthday passed again without him being here.

March…..My poor Kodi was hit by a car and passed away. WOW….that broke my heart. I feel like it was my fault. I have a new puppy now. His name is Tristan and I think he thinks he is a cat. New puppy….ewwww!

April…Hockey player is moving to ND. Who will be here to save me now. He says it may not be but for a few months but he is not sure. And in that time what if he finds a wool panty wearing gf. I am so sad ;(

And of course I still have not found work. Just reading, taking pics, and playing a stupid computer game.

Well, that is it in a nut shell. Things have been a bit sucky. Just wanted EVERYONE to know.

Well, let me see if I can do a wrap up of my trip…..

I had a flat while still in Texas and was so pissed almost turned back around. I had to get a new tire again. I just got them changed recently. This cost me $95. A dayum shame. I was told that my service covers coming out to change the flat but not following them back to the shop to buy a new tire and replacing on a Saturday so early. Some bull. I tried to change the dayum thing by myself. The bolts were to tight. I had the car jacked up and the spear out. The tire cover was even off. If I could have changed the tire myself I would have drove to the nearest Walmart for a new one. The bolts were to tight. While doing all of this I messed up the locking mechanism of my truck and it would not catch. The dayum tire guy could not even get it to work. So I had to tie it down with whatever I had in my trunk and stopped a few times to re-tie that all the way up to Ohio. To add to that, I print out different instructions for my drive up to Ohio. I got lost. Think goodness I have Streets and Trips on my laptop. I got in a few hours later due to my tire and directions. I am needing a GPS system for my car.

Okay, I get to Ohio and the first night its 8 degrees. I needed a new coat bad. I got my daughter one but we were unable to find me one. Looks like everyone was needing a coat. I did my shopping for Christmas and became my mom slave. She still do not understand that it is cold and that  drove a day to get there. She all of the sudden had to go to so many places. I even almost had to hit a lady in the face at the butcher’s. My mom is getting old to. She complained about everything. It was non-stop. I finally blow up at her when she kept telling everyone that she did not get any Christmas gifts from her kids. It was not even Christmas yet. She talking bad about all of us with the speaker phone on. I had to tell her and her friend something about themselves. She ended up with gifts from all of us on CHRISTMAS. She just could not wait until Christmas.

I did have some fun. I went out with some of my cousins. I had a lot of fun. I got to talk to an old high school friend. I had a little crush on him in high school. I caught a movie which was pretty good. Went ice skating and ate so much I gained happy pounds.  Spent to much money but loved it. It was cold as the arctic but I had fun. I did also hear from the hockey player, he did not get to go home and he is not sure if he is able to stay in the states. He will be going in January. He check up on me for the drive home. I know the jury is still out on that one.

The drive back was great. No problems and I did not feel like my body was shaking. I had my bumper fixed but not my trunk. I am just thankful my uncle was able to re-attach it. I have been exhausted since I have been back. I have washed clothes, un-packed, and trying to talk myself into cleaning my desk. Tomorrow I was hanging out with a friend of mine and I do not have to drive. No New Year’s resolutions this year. The never pan out. I will just live!

I better get to it or I will be up all night doing it and i need all the sleep I can get.

I will not miss the drive in the crazy traffic. I will not miss the calls. I will miss my co-workers and the paycheck for bills. But life changes and you have to keep moving.

I will be starting to pack tonight. Which is going to suck. I am trying to figure out how not to bring lots of items to my mom’s one bedroom place. I will be there for almost 3 weeks. I think its impossible. I am dreading the drive Saturday morning. I am already wishing it over. I am nervous the whole time up there. I do it all again the whole time back. It’s bad on my body. I hope the roads are not bad between here and there.

I have gotten tires and need to get that oil change and tune-up today or tomorrow. My manager is being a hard ass and trying to make me stay all day because its technically not my last day, just a vacation. But who cares! Anywho…back to getting stuff done.

I have to start packing  soon. I am in lazy mood. I do not want to do anything. I need to do so much before Friday. To be honest, I rather be at home preparing for my trip then in this cold at work. I have to decide what not to take and what to take. It’s colder in Ohio and my mom is telling me to not bring a lot of bags. I mean I am going to be there almost 3 weeks. That lady can be crazy sometimes. I will try to follow her wishes but I do have a daughter and a dog to bring. I am going to keep our clothes to one huge hockey bag and bring small bags. That will fix her. I hope everything will fit. I am also bringing both of our laptops and other stuff to keep me busy and my daughter busy. I already know I am not going out much while there. Just a little Christmas shopping and that is it. I will need art supplies and writing stuff. I am bringing video games and movies (I will not have computer access). Of course, my IPod goes where ever I go. I will have lots of coats. So, mom starting getting tire of the bags. I will just go stay with someone else.

I guess it is time to get to work. I get free lunch today. I guess that is a plus since the place is close by! And who does not love free food.

Friday…. I finally was able to leave work at 1330. I could not wait to get home. I speed cleaned and then crashed on my couch. I love my couch. Always put me right to sleep. I was able to watch shows that I DVR’ed. I am finally getting caught up. I waited for my hockey player to come over  after the Star’s game (which they one! Its so sad that Sean Avery is no longer a member. He cracked me up with his mouth and fights. Loved him!) I got my Christmas gift. A set of Ralph Lauren perfumes. I liked that gift (I love smell goods). Which remind me I have to by some more Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana, its my fav. He will be gone the same amount of time I will be gone for Christmas. See, how things are with us in the New Year (if there will be an us).

Saturday… I went to see the movie, The Day The Earth Stood Still. I liked it. It sort of reminded me of the old version just more technical. The rest of the day, I washed clothes and  I watched shows I have missed. I finally saw, The DaVinci Code. Lord, that movie was boring. The book irked me but the movie…. Hey, but I love that Tom. He was great in Forrest Gump.

Sunday… I veggied. I went food shopping. Made some Skyline Chilli and just set in front of the TV to complete the reset of the shows I missed since October. I made a dessert for a friend. He came in 3rd overall for his bike races so far (He is not here to enjoy the cake. Of course everyone is saying its his fault he is not here). I updated my Planner for the upcoming year and that was about it. My weekend was relaxing.

I also did a lot of thinking about some things this weekend as well. Should I or should I not move back to Ohio for good (looking into the job market while I am there to see what is up)? Why am I having these crazy dreams (they have been real crazy)? And what about me and the hockey player (that one I am still reflecting on because things got more confusing this weekend)? Well, I will stay posted regarding these issues. I will be gone for a while (starting Friday) from updating this blog but I bet I come back with losts of stories.

I say that its the company fault that people called off and they are firing people. I had a schedule half day off. All I can say is, shame!
